When moving becomes difficult, your life is less than what it could be.... and we have a problem with that.
We believe that life should be fun and if physical pain is holding you back, we can help you feel better.

Chiropractic Services

Chiropractic adjustments help to resolve:

  • neck pain, midback pain, low back pain, sciatica

  • painful shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands

  • painful hips, knees, ankles and feet

  • whiplash injuries and motor vehicle accidents (MVA’s)

  • headaches, jaw pain (TMJ problems)

  • posture concerns, especially when your head is pulling forward

  • pregnancy discomforts - low back pain, hip pain, pubic bone pain, round ligament pain, upper midback pain and neck pain

  • infant concerns - babies who are having difficulties with latching at the breast or bottle feeding, lying on their backs comfortably, sitting in car seats, refusing to roll over, and commando crawling

  • children’s concerns - children who walk unevenly with toes tipped in our out (or one of each!), headaches, posture concerns, not sleeping comfortably

  • adult concerns - posture imbalances from work and life movements, not walking comfortably, right shoulder issues from mousing on computers, low back issues from physically demanding jobs

  • and more….

Our philosophy about what we do

To us, chiropractic care encompasses more than back pain, sore muscles and inflamed joints. The type of chiropractic care that we prefer to provide is what we call whole body chiropractic care.

What is whole body chiropractic care? Well, over the years, we've realized that we help our patients get better faster if we treat their areas of chief complaint AND assess their overall body alignment at the same time. We’ve found that at times, patients experience pain because of an underlying posture or muscle imbalance and when that is corrected, the pain simply stops being a concern.

Chiropractic adjustments help to improve the movement of your joints and relieve any muscle imbalances that you might have.  Better, yet, chiropractic adjustments enhance the way that your brain communicates with your body - many people who are adjusted experience better digestion, better sleep, increased energy levels and much more.  Additionally, chiropractic strengthens your posture and balance, both of which improve your overall health.

Massage Therapy Services

There are so many great reasons to have a massage! Besides helping to decrease pain and improve healing times for muscle spasms caused by injuries from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries or life events, massage therapy can provide many health benefits for people who are experiencing repetitive motion injuries or problems that are stress induced.

People who are massaged can experience many of the following benefits:

  • Better posture. People who have physically demanding jobs, or people who sit throughout the day, whether from driving, desk work, computer work or answering phones can notice that they don’t stand, sit or move as well as they once did. Massage can help to decrease muscle tension and improve posture to help our patients move more freely and enjoy their day more.

  • Improved blood circulation. Tight muscles can actually decrease blood flow to themselves! Massage helps to relax these tense muscles, which improves blood flow and increases blood circulation throughout the body in general.

  • Improved immune function. With better blood circulation, the lymph fluid in the body is able to circulate more easily. The result is that the immune system functions better.

Other benefits noticed by our patients are:

  • Improved joint flexibility and range of motion.

  • Improved athletic performance.

  • Improved ability to breathe deeper and easier.

  • Decrease in chronic pain levels.

  • Decreased blood pressure.

  • Improved sense of relaxation and well being.

The positive effects of Chiropractic adjustments for pregnant women

During pregnancy, especially the third trimester, it can be quite tiring to move a belly with a baby in it around all day. Getting up from sitting, walking, bending over and turning over in bed become such monumental tasks.

The physical reason for this discomfort is that you lean back to counterbalance the weight of your belly, the constant leaning creates extra pressure on the joints of your low back. Chiropractic adjustments help:

  • keep the joints of your neck, midback, low back and pelvis moving easier

  • maintain your pelvis in an optimal position throughout your pregnancy

  • your body transition back to your pre-pregnancy state after you have your baby as your ligaments slowly tighten back into place.

The earlier you start care in your pregnancy, the easier it is for us to keep you in alignment before AND AFTER your baby’s birth.

The positive effects of Massage Therapy for pregnant women

During pregnancy, especially the third trimester, it can be quite tiring to move a belly with a baby in it around all day. Getting up from sitting, walking, bending over and turning over in bed become such monumental tasks, that many of us try not to as much as we can.

Massage during pregnancy is a wonderful, wonderful thing. It pampers you and helps to soothe tired, aching muscles, especially in the neck, shoulders and low back. In your early pregnancy, you might lie face down on a pregnancy table that opens to provide space for your belly. During the latter half of your pregnancy, you will most likely lie on your side during your massage.

Pregnant women who are massaged throughout their pregnancy enjoy comfort, relaxation and the added benefits of:

  • Better sleep

  • Decreased stress levels

  • Less anxiety

  • Improved mood

  • Improved circulation

  • Less swelling of the hands, legs and feet
